💸 New Refund Feature
The Refund Feature is now available in the Invoice module, allowing clinics to process refund transactions more accurately and efficiently.
⚙️ How to Use:
- Go to the Invoice Detail page
- Click the Refund Icon on the item
- A refund modal box will appear
- Enter the following information:
- Refund Date
- Payment Method
- Click Confirm to process the refund
Key Features:
- Refund individual invoice items directly from the Invoice Detail page.
- Track refund transactions with refund date and payment method.
- Refund amounts are automatically deducted from:
- Gross Profit
- Doctor Fee calculations
- Total refunds can be viewed in:
- Reports
- Doctor Fee Detail pages
Important Notes:
- Refunds can only be applied per invoice item.
- Partial refunds are not currently supported.
- Refunded items cannot be refunded again.
- Refund amounts cannot exceed the original invoice item amount.
🩺 Specialist Commission
A new Specialist Commission feature has been added to support different commission rates for specialist treatments.
⚙️ How to Use:
- Go to the Treatment Detail page
- Open the Specialist Commission tab
- Click Add Specialist Commission
- Select the specialist doctor
- Enter the commission percentage
Benefits:
- Configure commission rates for specific treatments and specialist doctors.
- Automatically applies the specialist commission rate during Doctor Fee calculations.
- Supports more flexible and accurate doctor compensation management.
🦷 Redesigned Dental History Input
The Dental History module has been redesigned to provide a more intuitive and flexible workflow.
✨ Improvements:
- Support for multiple Main Condition selections.
- Expanded Clinical Findings with the + More option.
- Automatic display of related sub-categories.
- Support for multiple sub-category selections.
This enhancement improves documentation accuracy while reducing data entry errors.
🧪 Improved Lab Fee Entry
Users can now record lab fees directly for each treatment during treatment confirmation.
Benefits:
- More accurate lab fee tracking.
- Better treatment-based cost management.
- Improved financial calculation accuracy.
🦷 Clear Selection Button & Selected Teeth Display
To improve treatment planning and tooth selection:
- Added a Clear Selection button for quick reset.
- Selected teeth are now highlighted clearly for easier review before confirmation.
📝 Invoice Remarks (Notes)
A new Remark (Note) field has been added to Invoice Details.
Users can record:
- Payment references
- Special instructions
- Additional invoice-related notes
📊 Expense Management Improvements
New filtering options have been added:
- Expense Category
- Patient Name
Expense Export Update:
- Doctor-based filtering is now available when exporting expense data.
🎨 Change Doctor Fees List Design & CSV Export
The Doctor Fee List page has been redesigned with a modern card-based layout.
✨ Improvements:
- Doctor profile card design.
- Gender-specific doctor icons.
- Easier access to:
- Commission Percentage
- Name
- Phone Number
- Quick access via the View Detail button.
Users can now export Doctor Fee records to CSV format using a selected date range.
This feature improves:
- Financial reporting
- Data analysis
- Record sharing
📦 Inventory Purchase Deletion Update
The previous 2-week deletion restriction for inventory purchases has been removed.
Important Note:
- Only Owners and Admins can delete inventory purchase records.
👁️ Show/Hide Revenue Amount
A new privacy option allows users to show or hide revenue figures on the Dashboard.
This is especially useful when using Nova Dent in shared or public environments.
🖨️ A5 Invoice Printing
Invoice printing now supports A5 paper size for a more compact and convenient print format.

- Invoices can now be printed in A5 format
- Layout has been optimized for clear and professional A5 printing
